So this is happening again.... I have patched to 3.0.2 now. The splash screen progress bar gets all the way to the end and then is just stuck at this point, the IDE never opens. This only seems t...

No upgrade... I was waiting for the patch. I was able to fix the problem by deleting all of my prefs and cache in ~/Library. Bit of a hassle though...

Though, sorry, I didn't check the log before I deleted it... :( If it happens again I will do and report back findings if that would help.

Thanks, I didn't have to many settings, and deleting .idea then recreating the project has solved the problem.

Further to this, the Project preferences for Directories won't load to show which directory the project points to. See attached.Attachment(s):Screen shot 2011-12-20 at 11.40.01 (2).png

Thanks :) So if I have a second file that is outside the current project, there's no way to compare it with a file in the project (besides temporarily adding it to the project)?
