I can't convince Pycharm to use any virtualenv environment and I'm not running any sort of antivirus.

Workaround 1 is not possible with NVM, since it makes its changes to .bashrc. Workaround 2 does work- if I actually type in "/bin/sh /home/jason/.local/share/JetBrains/Toolbox/apps/WebStorm/ch-0/20...

Restarting Toolbox or running Webstorm outside it doesn't fix the problem.

The problem I'm having is that all the features in the Run menu are broken. Node is on the PATH. If I open up the Terminal tab and type "which node" it prints the location of the current executable...

If it works with the regular installer, it means Webstorm is incompatible with NVM. Node is installed via NVM and on the PATH, but Webstorm has some sort of dependency on the official installer.

No, it just opens normally without errors and shows a "Webstorm" menu with no File, Edit, View, etc. There is no way to open a project.

2018.3.5 works fine for me, but after upgrading to 2019.1 I can't open any windows anymore.
