Thank you.  >2. As the IntelliJ Platform is open-source, it is clear that Classic UI will always be available by at least some means.  I scoped this out early on and decided it was too undocumented...

@Fabrizio Salis Are you saying that the latest IJ release has removed the ability to use the old UI completely? I haven't downloaded it yet.

OK I tried it on my non-dev machine with a toy problem.  I asked it to solve a very moderately difficult problem and it said a lot, repeated my question back to me, injected some true but irrelevan...

Here's a couple more thoughts for those of us who are not liking the new UI. Maybe JB will see that people swap it out for the old UI (through notifications) and retain the old UI for that reason. ...
