I just called `Generate Overrides` action which doesn't create overrides immediately, only collects info about virtual functions of the given type and CLion hanged for a couple of minutes

Why you'd not just extract UE internal stuff into a plugin and allow to use it in CLion. Yes, that would force you to create and maintain a "source code access" plugin for UE but you already did it...
