I found the issue. Somewhere, one of the wizards created this environment variable: DJANGO_SETTINGS_MODULE=src.project.settings It should just be `project.settings`

My Python virtual environment is called `.env`. EDIT: renamed virtual environment to .venv and tried the suggestion and it works. Thanks!
