Hi Ruslan, There are changes, as the small blue "updates available" arrow is showing on my branches popup both before and after hitting CTRL-T. I can confirm, there are no submodules in this project.

I have this same issue, it's super annoying because I can't type any numbers in without having to hit 'esc' to move on. Only started happening when I upgraded to 2019.3 (I was on 2019.1 or 2 before).
