scratch that, changing the value to recognize the case sensitive filesystem fixed the problem for me. I had to clear the caches. I'm using intellij but the behavior was the same Steps to resolve: ...

I've got the same issue, from a mac (Catalina). Thought it might have been a case sensitivity thing, but I've tried with both versions of that configuration. Notably I had to recreate the idea.prop...
