Update: if I set a breakpoint in the Chrome Developer Tools, then I can inspect them in WebStorm, but not the other way around.

Unfortunately, I'm not at liberty to share the project. The original project (from which this was just now forked, and has the exact same code) does not have this issue. I created a brand new Hello...
