Semantic highlighting checked back after each IntelliJ IDEA restart

Why is "semantic highlighting" option in Editor->Color Scheme->Language Defaults checked back after each IntelliJ IDEA start/restart. I'd like to have this option unchecked, but it checks itself back every time i start/restart Intellij IDEA. Is there any fix for this?

@Kinga Hi, do you have the Rainbow Brackets plugin installed? This plugin may enable this feature on startup: https://github.com/search?q=repo%3Aizhangzhihao%2Fintellij-rainbow-brackets+Semantic+Highlight&type=issues
Try updating that plugin to the latest version and make sure the "Settings | Rainbow Brackets | Enable rainbow variables" is not enabled.
