Debugger Icons shifted back to old IDE gutter

Hello Everyone,
I'm using the new UI in IntelliJ 2022.3.2 and I'm working on a Java 11 Spring Boot app. Until today when I went into a debug session the debugger icons showed above the windows next to the tabs.
Now today all the debugger icons have moved back to the left gutter. I've tried switching UI's, rebooting and resetting default displays but cannot get the icons to show back on top again. Anyone else had this or an option to fix??

Does the Restore Default Layout help?

Tried that and a reboot but debugger icons still show in the left side gutter.

I also recall yesterday, getting a dialog asking me if I wanted to use services for debugging. It didn't seem like anything weird at the time. Also I don't think I'm seeing the typical debug console icon now it's more of a hexagonal shaped one.

You can remove it from Services to get a traditional debugger view:
