IntelliJ just decided to change my editor colors

What the hell.
I open my laptop today and my colors are gone. Since I have the "sync on", I cannot even locate a file that I can import/export with my previous definitions!
What just happened???? Why did my colors reset?

Try changing "Darcula" under "Preferences | Appearance & Behavior | Appearance"

I have three questions tho:
1) Why did this happen?
2) Is there a way to save these configs so I never lose them or is this really backed up in the cloud and I do not need to worry?
I want to avoid future scares like this one...
3) Where can I check in my Jetbrains account the configurations currently stored there?
Default setting changed, this is the reason. It is not a question of settings sync.
