plugin for java play framework

 I am new to java play. I am seeing some auto completion errors and am not sure if i have the correct plugin(s).

I have one plugin for Playframework support Version 1.0.

Another plugin for Scala that says it has Play 2 support. version 2016.2.1

I tried updating the playframework plugin and downloaded play-plugin-bin-0.41.2.zip. I was unable to install plugin from disk.. When selecting the zip file the OK button was inactive. When I tried installing enclosed jars, I got errors.

Do I need both plugins? Do I have the most recent? If not, how to update.
