Canceling queries (and history of such action)

I'm on Datagrip 2016.3

There were a couple of queries that I was running but as they were taking a while, I believe I canceled them. A few hours later, my DBA informs me that I've had two queries (turns out to be the same ones) running for 3+ hours. I reopened Datagrip and while I can find execution history for the consoles with Ctrl+Alt+E, it doesn't seem to contain any information regarding canceling queries.

1. Is that information (cancel history) logged somewhere that I can find it?

2. Assuming I did cancel the queries as I believed. What might have happened? Is it possible my Datagrip connection dropped but the query was still running on our server side?

Thanks
