Feature-request- Colorize current Branch background for better visual distinction

Hi there. This is a small feature request because me and my colleagues noticed numerous times, that during development we were working on a wrong branch. Could you make the small branch selection field in the status bar a bit more distinctive ? I am thinking of assigning colors to every branch which will fill the background of the status bar field. Please see screenshot
