Choosing Vagrant's PHP interpreter

Hi,

occasionally I have to maintain legacy PHP apps, which I try to maintain with our IntelliJ IDEA 2016.3.4.

I tried to connect to the PHP interpreter of the Vagrant box, but there is only the option to choose a local interpreter.

I downloaded PHPStorm (evaluation), and here we go, there is an option to connect to Vagrant or choose a interpreter via SSH.

Am I missing an option or plugin with IntelliJ IDEA or is it just not possible to use Vagrant's PHP interpeter?

Please try to install "PHP remote Interpreter" plugin.

thanks a lot - this worked.

As I develop 90% Python and 10% PHP with IntelliJ IDEA I am wondering if I miss a lot by not using Pycharm and PHPStorm.

Are there any other plugins which I need to install to make up with the specialized versions?
