2017.1 disappearing Find/Replace window a big step backward
The 2017.1 update had some interesting new features, but I have to say I'm really disliking the new Find/Replace In Path dialog ( ctrl-shift-f ) that closes any time you click on anything else. I frequently do a quick lookup and then compare across the main code window or my browser. With the new update, the instant I click on anything else the Find/Replace window closes. Worse -- it's not simply invisible, but I have to wait for it to repeat the Search (and lose my place if I had scrolled down) every time I re-open it.
PLEASE make this a normal window again, the way it was in 2016.3. This is currently so anti-useful I'm actually considering downgrading to the older version until it's fixed.
NOTE: I do like that you managed to combine it all onto one screen instead of the two tabs, but could you make the File Mask field wider?

BTW -- what OS you are on?
I'm on Windows 10 and using yesterday's 2017.1.1 -- it works fine with focus here -- I have to press Esc in order to close search window -- clicking does not close it.
On windows 10 with the latest version of phpstorm x64 some times when I have an open search window pressing esc or clicking away does not close/hide the window, I finally have to click a "Open in Find window" to hide the window. As in the occasion now to check operation clicking away doesnt close it, the 3rd attempt at ESC did finally close it, please bring back the close X button
This is REALLY annoying. I downgraded just because of this windows. Unfortunately Gradle 4.1 seems to require Intellij 2017 (see).
I'm on Ubuntu, btw.
