How to "star" current branch?

Since the current VCS branch does not appear in the branches dialog, how can you "star" the current branch?

Unfortunately, currently, it is not possible to start the branch that is checked out.
It is a known limitation, and we plan to fix it in future. Possibly, the current branch will be listed among others, and it will be possible to star it.
