ability to create an sqllite database - please add this feature

 I wish to create several sqllite databases.  From a previous post I see that one must create the sqllite database in another application and connect to it.  Can you add this feature?  Coming from MS Access I just assumed that I could create a database but not so.  Please put this on the wish list of features to add.  Thanks,  Tom

It can. Try the following steps, assuming you have the Sqlite (Xerial) driver installed:

  • Go to File / Data Sources
  • Press Green plus to create new Data Source, and select Sqlite (Xerial)
  • Notice it brings up "File:", where you can press "..." to find an existing file, or a green plus to create a new db
  • Press the green plus
  • Navigate to your target folder, enter file name at bottom of window where it says "File:"
  • Tada...database file is created
