Not being able to download files from remote host
Hi guys, I just got PHPstorm and its great but after i download a project from my ftp, and exclude some folders, but later regret and i want those folders, i cant do it. i even deleted the exclude path from the folder i want and click Download From Here, and i get the message: no files or folders found to process. Anybody else with the problem?

How exactly did you exclude these folders? Are you able to reproduce this with a fresh project? Could you provide us with steps to reproduce this?
I excluded the vendor folder in laravel, then i tried removing the exclusion, it didnt work. Im getting the no files or folders error.
Ok I did it by dragging the folder over to my project from the remote host!
Same Problem here. After removing a folder from the exclude list the IDE still tells me
[23.01.2019 10:15] 1 item excluded
[23.01.2019 10:15] No files or folders found to process
Drag and Drop works for me as well as a workaround.
Tried both ways (exclude local paths & exclude by deployment path) - no luck: worked like a charm.
Please attach a screenshot of:
- Tools > Deployment > Browse Remote Host with a folder that can't be synced
- screenshot of that folder locally in a Project Tool window
- screenshot of Tools > Deployment > Configuration: Mappings and Excluded Paths tabs
