Find in path windows not shown
已回答
Hi, just using IntelliJ IDEA Ultimate 2017.2.3 build IU-1723968.16 on Windows 7 64bits.
The problem happens when I try to 'Find in path', using keystrokes or by the menu option, the window is not shown.
I've tried to use the -Dide.find.as.popup=false JVM option within idea64.exe.vmoptions, but without success.
Replace in path doesn't work either.
I've had a look at the log files, but I don't see any exception or something like that.

Try the clean installation from http://www.jetbrains.com/idea/download/index.html.
Remove IDE folders (https://intellij-support.jetbrains.com/hc/articles/206544519) to start with all the defaults and see if it helps.
Yes, unfortunately that worked, but now I have to reconfigure everything (datasources' passwords, downloading lot of things and so on), but at least I have the feature that is really useful in the project I work on.
Well, after a while and with same versions it happened again.
Now with the popup VM option the non-popup version is working, but this is still a workaround, because the popup is more usable, although at least I can use the 'find in path' feature.
What I made was opening the File in Path popup and search something. Then I moved the window to another monitor, and click on the IDE. Then the popup was hidden under the browser I had in the other monitor, and never got it back again :(.
Thanks for the information. This looks like a bug. Could you please report it at https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issues/IDEA with the steps to reproduce?
