How to add second project folder to current project window?

there is no such feature in WebStorm; please vote for https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/WEB-7968.

You can add other projects to current one as additional content roots (Settings | Directories, Add Content Root) to have them shown in the same window.
But note that this might have negative impact on performance because of the resultant project size (just as "adding to currently opened projects" In PHPStorm).

I am trying to add another folder to CLion, in addition to what is there when creating the project, a directory outside the IDE project structure.

I can do this in PyCharm, Webstorm, and Jetbrains, but apparently not CLion.

Dear Jetbrains:

Please make your IDE's uniform in this one manner.  Please have Project->Settings->Project Structure in the same place, uniform throughout, I switch IDE's daily, often, and have need of this to pull in local templates I have for development that are on my local machine only, and not part of the regular project.
