How to create a new emty JavaScript project in IntelliJ Idea 2017.3?

已回答

I read that IntelliJ Idea can do anything that can do WebStorm, therefore I want to use IntelliJ Idea.

I don't see any project templates for JavaScript and TypeScript. I would like to have capability to create new JavaScript andTypeScript projects like I do it in WebStorm.

Ok, I try to create new empty TypeScript project (for Node.js)...

I try to create new empty project by *empty project* template like I do it in WebStorm but I get unexpected result.

I skip next dialog and press OK:

Hm... I don't see the root directory of my empty project:

Also, I can't create a new subdirectory.

I assume that this is an empty project for Java and it is not suitable for JavaScript.

I know I can create a new empty directory and open it in IntelliJ Idea 2017.3, but at this case I have other problem:

IntelliJ Idea 2017.3 hasn't Node.js configurations:

How can I solve it?

But what about Nod.js configuration?

Make sure NodeJS plug-in is installed and enabled.
