You need a REST IDE

I've been using the excellent app, Paw (https://paw.cloud), for a while now on the Mac. It's a tool for exploring and testing REST APIs. But they've been focusing most of their attention on a cloud service instead of the application. I mention this because I think that JetBrains has an opportunity to make a cross-platform competitor.

What I _wish_ existed, was a tool that did everything Paw did but had much, much better support for testing and test suites as well as much, much better and extensive support for generating and ingesting Swagger and other spec formats.

You've started a simplistic path with the support for *.http and *.rest files. But you can go a lot further.
