javascript can't change signature without specifying a default value
windows 7 x64
Trying to change signature to add a new parameter. I don't want to specify a default value for the new parameter. It doesn't do the refactor. Annoying.
IF there is a setting for allowing this, I can't find it. It is stupid that it is forcing me.

No way; please vote for https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/WEB-3954. Value is required for updating existing function calls; and searching for usages to make sure no calls have to be updated is potentially time-consuming operation which may require showing progress dialog before change signature dialog is shown
