Unable to click on any WebElements after switching back to the parent window

I have a scenario where I will navigate to the child window form parent and perform some actions there and click on a button in child window to switch back to the parent window and then I have to click on a button in the parent window. 

I am unable to click the button in the parent window. "Unable to locate element" error is being displayed.
