Shift key doesn't work

Hi,

I'm using PyCharm Professional version in Mac OSx High Sierra. PyCharm keyboard layout is "Mac OSx 10.5+".

I cannot use Shift key (left and right) to select text.

why is that?

Is there any other settings that I need to change to work properly with PyCharm?

Hi Hanan R! Do you have some special keyboard? Which PyCharm version is this? Do you have any custom plugins installed?
