Reuse old Project names

How do I remove old projects from PyCharm 2017 so that I can reuse Project names?

When creating new Project I get error "Location directory is not empty".   I try to create new project with same name as old project, after removing old project from welcome screen and deleting directory (using Windows File Explorer).
