Hello everyone,

I'm encountering some issues with WebStorm, a popular IDE, on my Intel Evo laptop [https://www.lenovo.com/ca/en/faqs/intel-evo/], and I'm seeking assistance from the community to resolve them.

To provide some context, I recently installed WebStorm on my Intel Evo laptop to support my development projects. However, I've been experiencing a few challenges that are hindering my workflow. Here are the specific problems I'm facing:

Slow Performance: After launching WebStorm, I noticed that it runs slower than expected on my Intel Evo laptop. Actions such as opening projects, navigating through code, and running tests take longer than they should, impacting my productivity.

High Resource Usage: WebStorm seems to consume a significant amount of system resources on my Intel Evo laptop. It utilizes a considerable amount of CPU and memory, causing my laptop to heat up and reducing battery life.

Compatibility Concerns: I'm unsure if there are any known compatibility issues between WebStorm and Intel Evo laptops. It's possible that certain features or functionalities within WebStorm might not work optimally on my device.

I kindly request assistance from the community to help me troubleshoot these issues with WebStorm on my Intel Evo laptop. There are no known compatibility issues between WebStorm and Intel Evo laptops.

Please try capturing a CPU snapshot when the issue occurs:

1) Help > Diagnostic tools > Start CPU usage profiling
2) perform the actions which are causing the high CPU usage, try to reproduce
the performance problem several times while recording the snapshot
3) Help > Diagnostic tools > Stop CPU usage profiling
and share it along with the log folder zipped (Help > Collect logs and Diagnostic Data) and screenshots of the Help | Diagnostic Tools | Activity Monitor window within a support ticket
