Code completion not working

I'm new to python, and when i try using the unit.upper, the code's not working, and the code completion doesn't suggest anything with unit. in the code.

I have seen other post recommend looking in the settings, but from what i can tell, the settings should be rigth.

Anyone who might know what i can do?
