Critical startup errors - After uninstall "AI Assistent and CoPilot"
Just got this problem after uninstall “AI Assistent” and CoPilot, followed by restart.
1) Tried to downgrade 2023.3 from the toolbox, but nothing changes, same same error. doomed :-/
2) Tried to delete plugin folder pointed out in the toolbox
3) Tried to download 2003.1 and install.
What to do next without loosing my setting ?

Do you recall what exact folder did you remove? Basically, there are two “plugins” folder – one for custom plugins and another is for the built-in plugins that should not be removed.
What I would suggest:
- Before proceeding, make a copy of configuration directory “%APPDATA%\JetBrains\PhpStorm2023.3”;
(https://www.jetbrains.com/help/phpstorm/directories-used-by-the-ide-to-store-settings-caches-plugins-and-logs.html#config-directory)
- Uninstall PhpStorm 2023.3 via Toolbox. Check that no installation left in “%LOCALAPPDATA%\Programs”;
- Move “%LOCALAPPDATA%\JetBrains\PhpStorm2023.3” somewhere (do not delete it yet);
- Install PhpStorm 2023.3 anew via the JetBrains Toolbox.
