Trying to install Rider - error fsnotifier: 1: Syntax error: ")" unexpected

MX Linux 23.1 based on Debian 12. Dotnet-sdk-6 and Oracle Java 17. Rider-2023.3.2

When running install script: sudo ./rider.sh. I see a window from Java: A Critical Failure Has Occurred, and buttons to continue this or restart. In terminal I see this:
