Problem with starting IntelliJ and not getting any type of warning

I just downloaded a new update for IntelliJ on 23 Jan 2024. After the installation, it restarted and got stuck on indexing for one hour. When I attempted to restart by forcefully closing it, now it is not opening and not showing any kind of error.

Try following the steps from this troubleshooting guide. It will have you delete certain directories used by the IDE in order to restore program integrity.
