How use the Clion 2023 terminal instead of new "blocks" ?

Hello all,

 

I would like to use the previous terminal instead of the new 2024 terminal with smart blocks which is very painful with git shortcuts and alias ?

Hello!

You can disable the new terminal integration via registry settings:

  • Press Shift twice, switch to Actions tab
  • Type Registry and press Enter
  • Find and disable terminal.new.ui

Also, we will be grateful if you leave detailed feedback about what you don’t like about the new terminal in the IntelliJ platform tracker - https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issues/IDEA.
