Sync new laptop to existing desktop settings

There are two settings sync plugins.

One has the warning that it is not compatible with my version of PyCharm, the others says it is compatible but has horrible reviews. But I also note the version is dated today, Feb 22. Does this new version solves the problems users complained about and is safe / effective to use?

The plugin you mentioned should be IDE Settings Sync, our old Settings Sync plugin, which was deprecated since 2022.3 IDE version. It is not possible to install it to the newer IDEs because it was replaced with the new bundled Settings Sync plugin.
However, since the plugin is bundled, it should have already been installed on your IDE; could you please specify which IDE you use? Is it Android Studio? If so, we have some compatibility issues, which, unfortunately, haven't been fixed yet and prevent our AS users from using the plugin; some of the complaints are related to this fact.
