Is Remote Development Via Windows Host Still In Active Development?

Was really hoping that IntelliJ/WebStorm would have remote development capabilities that were similar (or better) than vscode. But it seems like it's been a few years now and Linux is still the only supported server. Is this actually still receiving any development or has it drifted too deep into the backlog?
