Issue with typescript and false error reporting

I am getting an error on the file after upgrading typescript to the latest (5.4.5) but when I actually try to find the error there is none on the page. The “problems” tab also shows no errors, but there's a red squiggly line on my file and the error icon on the top right. I tried invalidating cache/restarting but no dice.
