The Run tools have disappeared from my Run window

When I Run some Python, I expect to see tools on the left side of the Run window: Stop, Restart, Pause.  

These icons have disappeared. I guess I need to  reset the view to bring these back, but the ordinary Reset view does not work. How do I get these tools back.
