Forcing bookmarks saving

I'm using CLion on Linux. I use bookmarks a lot. The project I'm working on is huge, and very often I need to kill forcefully CLion because it freezes and doesn't respond to anything. What I found out is that, if you create a new bookmarks list, mark it default, add bookmarks to it, and then kill forcefully the CLion project, then this newly created bookmarks list is not saved. I want to know how can I enforce saving it. Closing CLion gracefully works but I don't want to do it every time just for that.
