Unable to update files under git after 2016.3 upgrade

I upgraded from 2016.2.4 to 2016.3 and imported the previous settings. After reopening the project that is under git any changes to a cucumber feature file that I make gets reverted. Appears like the cucumber plugin is not supported in 2016.3. Please help!
