I'd love to just be able to compile myself - from looking into it, it appears that you need a bunch of external stuff put in the right place, and some config files set appropriately. It doesn't look terribly difficult - are there up to date instructions somewhere?
If you're anything like me, you're likely time and resource constrained, and I wouldn't be surprised if nightly builds were (understandably) near the bottom of the list in priority. With that said - could we get a weekly build published perhaps on Fridays until you get the backend CI/automation stuff fixed up?
It's quite simple, instructions are here: http://confluence.jetbrains.com/display/SCA/Setting+up+Scala+plugin+project+in+IntelliJ+IDEA Please be free to ask me directly for any compilation problems (Alexander.Podkhalyuzin@jetbrains.com). Nigthly builds is not near the bottom of the list in priority (just not everything depends on me for this task), because almost all users, which use nghtlies, help us to find regressions (which are possible, and we are not always able to find them earlier). We really appreciate this help and we are doing our the best to fix such regressions as fast as we can.
Today I'll upload as nightly build new plugin RC, which will be uploaded to plugins.jetbrains.com around 30th April, as part of monthly Scala plugin release cycle (we are planning to do it in this way to reduce plugin release management chaos, which we had before).
Yeah - I haven't seen a nighly build since April 5th - is there a new series of builds somewhere?
Hi,
It's broken since that time. I'll take a look for nightly build script as soon as possible.
Best regards,
Alexander Podkhalyuzin.
Any word on this? I miss my nightly plugin builds. :>
I'm exited to see the latest stuff...
I'll upload "nightly" manually later today. I'm still investigating problems.
Best regards,
Alexander Podkhalyuzin.
Awesome! Thanks for the work on this!
Is there anything that we in the community can do to help get nightlies back up and running?
You can't do anything in resolving our network and configuration problems. It still not working, but I don't forget about it.
Best regards,
Alexander Podkhalyuzin.
Thanks for the response!
