Hide "Marker Bar" (inspections)

In rubymine 6, how do I hide the "marker bar", the thin vertical bar which highlights "inspections"?
I found this (http://www.jetbrains.com/resharper/webhelp/Code_Analysis__Status_Indicator.html) but I can't find the preferences it refers to.
I expected to be able to hide the "marker bar" by using the "View" menu, akin to View -> Status Bar, for example.

Thanks T Leish, I went back and read the discussion. I'm not seeing any instructions on how to hide the "marker bar". I do see one person who says it can't be done, but is that true?
To answer my own question, there is a feature request already open for this.
