Difference Between RubyMine and IntelliJ + Ruby Plugins

Hello, can this be made a bit more clear? Is there a difference
between purchasing IntelliJ and just installing the Ruby/Rails plugins
vs purchasing RubyMine? Does RubyMine offer additional features?

Also, why is it that RubyMine has a direct link to color themes while
IntelliJ doesn't.

Because we feel that it's appropriate for RubyMine's target audience but
not necessary for IntelliJ IDEA's.

Are those color themes compatible with IntelliJ?

The color themes shipped with RubyMine might not have complete color settings
for all the languages supported by IntelliJ IDEA. But the format is the same,
and you can use them with the IntelliJ Ruby plugin.
