Is there a way to disable (as in hide) intentions popups?

When I click on an intention and right arrow to disable it, it continues to pop up. Presumably this is because you might need to select it and right arrow again to enable it. I want to hide it which is what I thought disable meant. Is there any way to just hide them? I am happy to go to prefs where I can re-enable the ones I turn off.
