Welcome to the new Plugin Repository

Hello everyone,

We've finally opened our long-promised new plugin repository site for beta
testing. The beta site is at:
http://beta.plugins.intellij.net/

You can use your existing ITN account to log in, or create an account on
the site. Feel free to browse around, and if you're a plugin developer, you
can claim ownership of your plugins.

You can report bugs or suggest new features in this thread.

Enjoy. :)

It's nice but I'm a bit disappointed, i thought that you would have provided a JIRA space for each plugin to allow bug reporting, feature request etc...

That's a separate thing. Stay tuned. :)

Hello Alexey,

AE> How to assign my plugins to me?

Use the "Please add me as author" button in the top right corner of the plugin
form.

Hello Alexey,

AE> How top rated 10 is builded?

By rating. Right now there are no ratings, so the "top 10" is pretty random
(10 plugins with lowest IDs).

That is looking good. A great improvement over the old repository. Excellent.

My first bug report about it:
quotes in comments are shown as escaped quotes. When typing a " in a comment, it shows as \" on the page. See http://beta.plugins.intellij.net/plugin/?id=95.

Hi,

Could we have detailed download statistics (by version for example) ?

0

Hi Dmitry,

Looks nice, indeed.

But is the information there a bit stale? Do you synchronize it with the
current repository or this is just a snapshot, for now?

Best,
Andrei

This is a snapshot. The sync from the old repository to the new one is one-way.

This is very cool. I think one essential missing feature is
public/private tagging, so I can easily make a list of recommended
plugins for installation at my company, and give people links to the list.

Why can't you use any of the million existing ways to make a list of HTML
links for that?

Plugin description with lists do not render correctly in IE 6, the "-" is rendered over the first character of list item text, see e.g. http://beta.plugins.intellij.net/plugin/?id=107

Would be nice if JB could open up their Confluence installation as well for plugin homepages - the WiKi seems to be quite dead and unmanaged..

Otherwise a nice new look and feel!

No notifications to author about comments.

Sorting not work

0

No notifications to author about comments.

Many plug-ins don't even seem to have authors either.

IMHO filtering the "not rightly filled fields" would be very helpful.

Ahmed.

Trying to access:
http://beta.plugins.intellij.net/plugin/?id=606

(i.e. the JavaDoc plug-in page from the 10 "New or Updated")

I'm getting the following page content:
-

Warning: Sablotron error on line 1: XML parser error 11: undefined entity in
/var/www/beta.plugins.intellij.net/classes/XSLT.class.php on line 40

I can.

0

Please hide emails of plugin author.
Or make it configurable in my profile

0

I dislike anonymous rating already: http://beta.plugins.intellij.net/plugin/?id=95 . Could that be disabled?
Actually, for selecting plugins, I'm only interested in the opinions of people that I know and whose opinion I value. It would be really great if I could filter the ratings of plugins somehow.
