console plugin

Did you need console in IDEA?

it will be off big help if you could make it work with the current idea version

i do have to do lots of activity in the command line which involves some ftp too

The old dream about console :) I'm understand.

So, i'm try to relaunch SystemTools plugin (with one have a console, but it maybe does not work with current EAP).

This plugin have console as Editor, and i'm think that this is not good. That about console in ToolWindow? That do you think?

i don't understand what you are trying to tell me.
making some assumptions here
yes the plugin treats the console as an editor, which Idea does not like
have attached the exception that i got along with this post.

tried to configure cmd.exe as an external tool and work with it

couple of issues when i did that
some of the commands for some reason don't work that well
say for example 'cls'
ftp does not work as well
as soon as i try to enter ftp username and press enter nothing happens
