Providing custom XmlElementDescriptor?
I'd like to provide a custom XmlElementDescriptor for specific XmlTag and
XmlAttributes elements. I don't think this is possible but I want to ask before
filing a request in JIRA. Is it possible?

No, it doesn't seem to be currently possible - please file a JIRA request.
