New toolwindow decorations usability issues

For many views, I usually have dem docked to the side or bottom of the window, and when I need more details I undock them to my second monitor (I have set them up to take the whole screen). When I'm done, I want to dock them again, and often hide them altogether.

With the new decorations, undocking/docking takes two clicks, but hiding is impossible from the window  - need to either:

• Switch context from mouse to keyboard and hit the window Alt+# two times- first focuses toolwindow, second closes it
• Press two times Alt and click on the window's icon to minimize it (again shifting attention from the undocked window)
• Dock the window and click the minimize icon

Am I missing something obvious? Is this a common use case?
