9.0.4 freezing under OSX10.6.5
This seems to happen randomly - but often - on intention invocation
mostly (AltEnter), but also on search usages (AltF7).
I can only force kill the app and restart it. At first restart no class
validation would be enabled, no reindexing takes place. Then after a
normal quit/start again, it would reindex an reenable all validation.
I've had this dozens of time today, it's really really annoying as you
may guess...

I think this dump comes from the last freeze, but I can't guaranty it 100%, as I frequently empty my Logs folder.
Hope you can validate quickly when looking into it.
I'll send another dump it the problem occurs again durting my next session, as this is the end of my day.
cheers

Looks like it is caused by an AspectJ plugin. Can you try to disable it?
Hi Roman,
thanks for the tip.
I don't seem to have the problem today though, maybe because I'm not
attempting any large scale refactoring.
Can you elaborate a little on how you can determine this from the dump?
That'd be a useful piece of information.
thanks

In thread "JobScheduler pool 1/2" the plugin causes a lock inside IDEA's index.
I'm an author of the plugin - that helps a bit.
