IDEA 9 EAP - could not change color of text in search/replace textbox

Been using IDEA 9 EAP for a few months, and its not too bad. A problem i have though, is the search/replace dialog taking on the foreground color of the editor (white in my case), but doesn't take on the background color (default is white). So it makes the text hard to read. The same happens in the Watches tab, and in the evaluate current expression dialog (available during debugging).

Perhaps I just missed a setting - is there a way to change the color, or is it a bug?
