Maia upgrade pricing with recent Idea purchase?

Apologies if this is pointed out somewhere, but couldn't find it anywhere.

We are about to upgrade our developers from Idea 7 to Idea 8. I'm wondering what's going to happen when Maia is released. Will newly purchased Idea 8 licenses get a free upgrade to 9? If so, any idea what the time window is for that discount to take effect?

IDEA 8 licenses purchased now will not get a free upgrade - they will need
to be upgraded at the regular upgrade price.
